ILU Tech® ("ILU Ops," "we," "us") operates the ILU Ops platform available at app.iluops.com and through mobile applications for iOS and Android (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
By using ILU Ops, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the Service.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you register, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the password you create. If you are invited by an administrator, this information may be provided by the person inviting you.
Organization information
Organization name, addresses of managed properties, and business contact details (tax ID, phone number, contact email).
Operational information
Work orders, checklists, preventive maintenance records, asset information (brand, model, serial number), vendor data, evaluations, reports, and any content you enter while using the Service.
Photographs and documents
Images taken within the application (evidence photos, digital signatures) and uploaded documents (contracts, insurance policies, quotes). Photographs may include location metadata (GPS) if you grant location permission to the application.
Usage information
Access logs, IP address, device type, operating system, and actions performed within the platform for security and audit purposes.
Payment information
If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by third parties (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or online payment processors). We do not store credit card numbers or detailed financial information. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your user account
- Send Service-related notifications (work order alerts, maintenance reminders, team invitations)
- Send transactional communications (registration confirmation, password recovery, account changes)
- Generate PDF reports requested by you
- Process and manage your subscription
- Provide technical support
- Comply with legal obligations
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information in the following cases:
Within your organization
Team members within your organization may view operational information according to their role (administrator, supervisor, technician, etc.).
Service providers
We use third-party services to operate the platform, including cloud hosting, file storage, email delivery, push notifications, and payment processing. These providers only access the information necessary to perform their service.
Legal obligation
If required by law, court order, or competent authority in Mexico.
Storage and Security
Your information is stored on servers located in the United States and is protected by:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all communication between your device and our servers
- Passwords stored with cryptographic hashing (bcrypt) — never in plain text
- Sessions authenticated with secure tokens
- Rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks
- Files and photographs stored in cloud infrastructure with controlled access

We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary session cookies to keep your session active while using the web platform. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.
Minors
ILU Ops is a business-to-business (B2B) service intended for property administrators and professionals. It is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
